This series of photographs documenting my time along the shores of Loch Leven and my local surroundings is about looking at Britain from a new perspective, trying to consider my own perceptions of my surroundings from this tranquil community while in my Christmas travels.
At Christmastime, when most of us feel that our lives have become chaotic, there is a sense of calm in travelling, and I wanted to find joy and questions in the everyday lives of the people here, to dissect the other side of Christmas, the shared lives of small town residents outside the big cities of the UK and the West.
